This side project made some revenue with almost zero costs spend on marketing. It was only marketed on Twitter & organically got sales & even it is listed on appsumo & got some sales. 

You can just start free organic marketing on Twitter, LinkedIn, where you could even reach people with a good amount of followers &, can make income out of it. 

The above twitter marketing was done with an account followers count of less than 100 & it still achieved something.

How can the buyer take this project further?

This project requires some marketing of at least mid-lower level & above. Like regular posting from a high follower count social media accounts, some niche-targeted google advertising etc.
