An email paywall, designed for influencers who wanted to find additional ways to monetize their audience.
The idea is simple - sign up for an email address, set your price, and share your email with your audience. Anytime someone emails you, they'll need to pay your asking price for the email to actually go thru.
I originally developed this idea for influencers but found that people who offer advice services had much more interest in being paid for their consultations/advice.
So I do believe in the core of this idea. What I lack was the marketing skills to get this off the ground. Email delivery is improved, which caused a lot of problems on the initial launch.
Included in the sale is the source code and data, you will need an AWS account since AWS process incoming emails and handles a few lambda functions that automate email replies. You will also need a stripe account to process payments.
I will help you transition to an AWS account, integrate your stripe information and move to a new host.
How can the buyer take this project further?
This is really a marketing journey now. The app works, it can use some upgrades.
There was some initial success, a youtuber signed up registered for $100 per email, and made $300 in one day on the platform, but because of email delivery issues they stopped using the application.
I've since fixed the issues, but email deliverability can always be improved.
