Google Add-ons. The add-ons take nearly 1300 COVID/Coronavirus related icons and images available under Creative Commons License and puts them together in a Google add-on.  Users can then one-click insert the images into their Google Slide or Google Doc.  Currently uses get 4 free images to place, after that they need to pay $2.99 for access to all 1300 images. There are separate Google Add-ons - one is for Google Slides, and one is for Google Docs.

I built this project as part of my personal “Kickstart” goal.  This goal includes building small little projects that I can then sell to others which kickstarts their side-project business.  Between my regular job, family, kids etc I don't have time to operate businesses but can build them.  This is where you come in.  If you don't have the technical skills to build a project, but have the ability to operate and grow them, you can take a small ‘Kickstart’ project from me and run with it.  I've designed this to be fully turn-key, all you will need to do is sign up for a Stripe account, input your Stripe keys and away you go.  I'll provide full training on how to do all this.  After that, all you'll need to do is create content to gain customers!  I price these projects lower than if you were to hire someone to build it.

I've built lots of other side projects like this before and have learned a few things about making the transition smooth.  Firstly, all accounts and passwords are stored in a password manager.  Transfer of all accounts is as simply as handing over the master password.  From there the new owner has access to everything needed to run the business.  Second, I make these projects as turn key as possible.  This particular add-on side projects is 100% no-code, turnkey, meaning the new owner won't need to touch any code or even know how to code.  I will walk the new owner through how the back end works, including how they can add more coronavirus related images from various Creative Common sources.  It's all designed to be super simple.  The new owners may also decide to change the parameters of the side-project (ex. increase/decrease the number of free images allowed and/or increase/decrease the price, move to recurring subscription etc).

Included in the sale, in addition to the initial walkthrough, is 6 hours of technical support over a 2 month period.

How can the buyer take this project further?

As mentioned in the other section, I built this with no intention of running it myself.  I built this with the goal of selling for a small sum that will allow someone else to pick up and work on a side project.

To build customer base, new owner should start to blog/tweet/share the startup with relevant communities.  From there the add-on should start to attract users organically from being listed in the Google Workplace Marketplace (formely known as G Suite Marketplace).
