With talkjaw anyone can listen in to live conversations.

To start a conversation or become a speaker in a conversation, you are instructed to call a phone number and enter an extension. Then, your call is connected to a room. Anyone on a web browser who is in the room will have a stream of the audio from the phone conversation.

Up to 10 people can be speaking in a conversation at once.

By creating an account, users can connect their Twitter handle to their talkjaw profile.

The business model is based on buying rooms. When you buy a room, you reserve the name of the room so that only you can start talks in it. For instance, you could buy the room "talkjaw.com/indiemaker". Now no one else but you can start conversations in that room.

Whoever starts a room has sole moderation power to accept new speakers and kick any speakers from the call.
