I sell reports and information about various topics for Indiehackers and Makers. 

My weekly task is to collect top apps about a topic, observe common patterns, and summary them into a report (about 5-8 pages). It costs me about 4-6 hours per week

The released topic: profitable no-code apps, writing apps, Chrome extension, developer tools, and email apps.

Each report is at a $9.9 price. 

After 1 month, I get a total of 6,987 page views, 62 sales equals $587.09 in profit (excludes Gumroad fee)

I also try a lifetime access package and got 1 customer for $49. (This price will increase base on the number of available reports)

How do I sell a database + report?

I use Airtable to store the database. 

I use Gumroad for payment. When I have new sales, I add the customer's email to the Airtable base manually.

If you buy, I can transfer my Gumroad account and Airtable's bases to you.

How can the buyer take this project further?

1. Run Twitter and Reddit Ads. All of my current traffic is from ProductHunt. The CR is 1%. The more traffic you get, the more sales you have.
2. Hire freelancers to collect data & write a weekly report.
3. Launch on Product Hunt for each report. It's possible because I use this strategy.
4. Build a web app for sorting, filtering, and searching. Then charge for a subscription instead of selling individual reports.
