WHAT DOES IT DO?

Put simply, the tool prevents text and images from being copied. It turns anything you upload into a protected image viewable only through a lens. People cannot copy it, save it, download it, or remove the watermark.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It converts text to an image on the server-side, and then jumbles it. The jumbled image is then sent back to the client.

So even if you went into the browser console, all you will find is a jumbled image. :)

While you'll never be able to protect something 100% (a human with a smartphone may simply record a video of the reading/viewing process) you can make it extremely difficult to copy, replicate, or paste. It works with images too.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Anyone who is worried about showing others your work, writing, images, and don't want them to copy it.

It's a better way to prevent image theft. Share logos and mockups without fear of them being stolen. Keep private and corporate data from being forever captured in a website screenshot. Distribute private images with confidence.

REASON FOR SELLING

After my developer and I teamed up, we redesigned the front end, added some functionality, and began validating the concept with users.

But our user tests didn't go well. We did a few with some logo designers, and just plain didn't get good results. Shortly afterwards I moved on to another shiny new toy and lost interest.

I still think there's something here, truly. Plagiarism is still a big problem, and while the concept didn't work with logo designers, that's just one use case...

...And there is *nothing* else like it!

I don't have time to explore other options anymore, but the technology is patentable and just plain cool.
