A simple OS X menu bar app that notifies you if any of your websites are down. The app is built using Electron for the MacOS app, Gatsby + React for the landing page, and uses the UptimeRobot monitoring API. We are selling UptimeBar because we have decided to focus our efforts on other projects which means we can't give this product the attention and continued development it deserves. It has the potential to be much bigger and more successful. Real-time monitoring and alerts for website downtime is a problem people want solved. Customer feedback for UptimeBar has been excellent, it just needs more time spent on sharing the service to get more customers. For example; the pricing is currently one-time purchase, but you could also introduce a 'pro' version for a monthly price with more features or paid features - there's loads of possibilities :). Or you could continue selling as it is, and with a little marketing effort we know that UptimeBar can be successful in the right hands.

How can the buyer take this project further?

The project is complete, but the MacOS app doesn't support Catalina. I haven't investigated the problem very thoroughly but from what I understand the signing process for apps in Catalina is slightly different, so it's likely you'll just need to update the builder code to a newer version.
